Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was born on the 21st of April 1926 at the Bruton Street 17 in Mayfair in London. The Queen Elizabeth II is the longest reign monarch of Great Britain. Her father Albert was a Duke of York, later King George VI. Her mother was Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon , Duchess of York. She is Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and Head of the Commonwealth. She is also Queen of 12 countries that have become independent since her accession: Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, with whom she has four children: Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Edward. The wedding was held on the 20th of November 1947 in Westminister Abbey. Her first child and her successor, Prince Charles, was born on the 14th of November 1948.
Elizabeth and Philip's children are:
- Charles (born on the 14th of November 1948), a Duke of Wales, the successor of throne;
- Ann (born on the 15th of August 1950), a Royal Princess,
-Andrew (born on the 19th of February 1960), a Duke of York;
