PRINCE ANDREW

Prince Andrew, Duke of York, is the second son and third child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. At the time of his birth, he was second in the line of succession to succeed his mother; he is currently sixth in line. Prince Andrew was born in the Belgian Suite of Buckingham Palace on 19 February 1960.
In 1986, Prince Andrew married Sarah Ferguson; the couple's marriage, subsequent separation and eventual divorce in 1996 attracted a high level of media coverage. They had two children: Princess Beatrice of York (August, 8th 1988) and Princess Eugenie of York (March, 23rd 1990).

PRINCESS ANNE

 

Anne, Princess Royal is the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Anne was born at Clarence House on 15 August 1950. Anne's first boyfriend was Andrew Parker Bowles, who would later become the first husband of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

On Wednesday, 14 November 1973 (the twenty-fifth birthday of her brother, Prince Charles), Princess Anne married Mark Phillips, a lieutenant in the 1st Queen's Dragoon Guards, at Westminister Abbey in a ceremony that was televised around the world, with an estimated audience of 100 million. By 1989, however, the Princess Royal and Mark Phillips announced their intention to separate, as the marriage had been under strain for a number of years. The couple divorced on 23 April 1992.

Anne married Timothy Laurence, then a commander in the Royal Navy, at Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral Castle, on 12 December 1992.

PRINCE CHARLES

 

Charles Philip Arthur George, known as Prince Charles, was born 14th November 1948. He is next-in-line to the throne after Queen’s Heath. He married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. They had two sons: Prince William (born 1982) and Prince Harry (born 1984). In 1996, the couple divorced, following well-publicised extra-marital affairs. Diana died in a car crash in Paris the following year. In 2005, Charles married Camilla Parker Bowles, who uses the title Duchess of Cornwall.

PRINCE PHILIP

 

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, He was born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on 10th June 1921. The Duke of Edinburgh is the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. He is the longest-serving consort of a reigning British monarch and the oldest-ever male member of the British royal family. After the war, Philip was granted permission by George VI to marry Elizabeth. He married Elizabeth on 20th of November 1947.
Philip has four children with Elizabeth: Prince Charles, Princess Ann, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. He has eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A keen sports enthusiast, Philip helped develop the equestrian event of carriage driving. He is a patron of over 800 organisations and serves as chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh's.
